BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. – November 1, 2024 – Bullhead City Police arrested two men after finding over 10,000 Fentanyl pills in their vehicle on a traffic stop for speeding.
On Friday, November 1 at about 2 a.m., police pulled over Raymond Oscar Rodriguez, 41 of Bullhead City, in the 2900 block of Highway 68. Some drug paraphernalia was found in the vehicle and a 9mm handgun was located under the passenger’s – Dennis Michael Whitaker, 41 of Bullhead City – seat.
Lake Havasu City Police K-9 Echo responded to the scene and the narcotic detection dog alerted on the vehicle. Police located a baggie with a significant about of blue counterfeit “M-30” pills containing Fentanyl.
Whitaker and Rodriguez were both arrested for possession of narcotic drugs for sale and transportation of narcotic drugs. Whitaker was additionally arrested for misconduct involving weapons. They were booked into the Mohave County Jail in Kingman.
